A beautiful moment in the traditional village of Senaru with Yantoo family
Une expérience incroyable au village sasak de Senaru avec la famille de Yantoo ! 🌿 Nous avons été accueillis comme des amis et avons découvert la vie locale : apprendre à cuisiner un plat indonésien, se nourrir grâce à la forêt, discuter avec les habitants, faire un peu de sport et partager un verre de vin de palmier avant de dormir dans leur authentique maison. Une expérience authentique, humaine et pleine de sourires — à ne pas manquer ! ❤️ Amazing experience in the Sasak village of Senaru with Yantoo’s family! We were welcomed like friends and got to discover local life from the inside — cooking a traditional Indonesian meal, learning how to live from the forest, chatting with villagers, doing some sport, and sharing a glass of palm wine before sleeping in their authentic home. Great guide ! Highly recommend

The best time trekking and learning culture!!
If you like breathtaking and rugged wilderness, compassionate people, and a fresh breath of culture, this is your tour! I had the pleasure of being guided by and being invited in the home of Yanto, and couldn’t have had a better time. If he can schedule you for his homestay in his traditional Sasak village, Yanto and his family and community are incredibly hospitable, kind, and fun! For me the experience opened my mind and was incredibly fulfilling. In terms of the trek, Yanto and the other porters are very experienced and knowledgeable, speak english well, calculated the right rations, and made me feel safe and excited! This all being said, if you are the type of traveler who needs a hotel with hot water and air conditioning, this is not for you (then again, maybe backpacking isn’t your thing either). If, on the other hand, you would like an adventure and learning experience of a lifetime, I cannot recommend Yanto and Senaru adventures more. I am so grateful for my one of a kind experience! Visiting the traditional village

Great time with Yantoo
I recently had the pleasure of joining the Senaru Adventures, I was led by the incredible Yantoo, for a memorable excursion to the Sendang Gile and Tiu Kelep Waterfalls. I can confidently say that it was an extraordinary experience that exceeded all expectations. From the very beginning, Yantoo's expertise and passion for the area were evident. He provided us with fascinating insights into the local culture and history, making the journey even more enriching. His friendly and approachable demeanor instantly made us feel comfortable. Yantoo skillfully guided us through the way. As we approached Sendang Gile, the first waterfall, the sound of cascading water grew louder, heightening our anticipation. When we finally arrived, we were greeted by a mesmerizing spectacle of rushing water amidst a backdrop of vibrant greenery. It was truly a sight to behold. However, the adventure didn't end there. Yantoo led us further to Tiu Kelep Waterfall, and it was an absolute marvel. The sheer power and beauty of the falls left us in awe. Yantoo's knowledge of the area was truly exceptional. He shared captivating stories and legends associated with the waterfalls, further immersing us in the magic of the surroundings. His genuine passion for nature and commitment to sustainable tourism were evident in his efforts to ensure the preservation of this natural wonder. I would highly recommend Senaru Adventures, particularly with Yantoo as your guide, for anyone seeking an unforgettable exploration of Sendang Gile and Tiu Kelep Waterfalls. The combination of Yantoo's expertise, the stunning scenery, and the exhilarating experience made this journey an absolute highlight of my time in Lombok. An amazing experience - you need to do it!
We had the most amazing tour of a traditional sasak village in Senaru. Junita was a lovely and very informative tour guide. She showed us around the village and explained how everything works, including how their community love together, different plants they cultivate, the animals they have and all the different materials they use. She showed us where the chief lives too! We also tried on the traditional dress wear which was great.
