Rinjani trekking program 3 days 2 nights (2.641m) Start from Senaru, end at Senaru Village
Hot Springs Rinjani one of best natural sauna if you climbing Rinjani, the trekking design to visit Lake of Segara Anak and hot springs water by 3 days 2 nights, start and end in same trails. Lake Segara Anak and Hot springs waters is one of favorite destination for trekkers, the lake provides specatular view in the morning, natural sauna at hot springs water. This trekking program is suitable for beginner trekker, available for children minimum 7 years old.
Required good level of fitness and strong walks, person with mountain sickness or height phobia are not alowed to join this tour. Tour can leave at any day except if weather condition does not permitted it. We are different from other tour organizers as we do not book for you any hotel, but instead you Will stay on our traditional villages before trekking, where earli morning you Will meet with Amak lokak (leader of our village) that Will give you blessing (menyembek) before the trekking as our culture does before we trek.
Arrival day:
We Will pick you up from any places in Lombok island,and bring you directly to Senaru traditional villages,(the place you Will stay the night prior the trekking)
Rinjani Trekking itinerary:
DAY ONE
It will be a full day trekking, with a total of 7 Km that will be most of steep path, and that will take about 6-7 hours to complete from Rinjani National Park to the top of Rinjani Crater Camping Site. There are two main stages during this trek. The first stage takes place within the forest (6 km; 5 hours), where you will be completely surrounded by trees and can expect a highly humid environment. The second stage is mostly outside and above the forest (1.5 km; 1.5 hours) leading to the volcano crater. This part of the trek offers no shade along the way.
- Breakfast at Senaru traditional village (local food)
- Prepare trekking
- Get blessing by Amak lokak(leader of village)
- We Will bring you to the gate of Rinjani and do registration
- After registration , walk trough jungle where we will shadowing by the sun 3 hours to POS 2 (MONTONG SATAS 1.500m ), seen black Monkey and big trees on the trail.
- Break at POS 2, prepare for lunch ,fresh fruits and soft drink by our Guide and porter
- Continue to POS 3 ( MONDOKAN LOLAK 2.000m ) pass tropical forest.
- After take a rest, continue to crater Rim of Senaru ( 2.641m )
- Camping and overnight at crater RIM Senaru, enjoy amazing sunset over 3 Gili’s and Mount Agung Bali
DAY TWO: Rinjani Trekking
- Breakfast and enjoy the sunrise over Lake Segara Anak view ( 2.641m )
- Walk down to the Lake, the route quite steep down and slippery, we should have to be careful and stay in group.
- Beautiful scenery a long the way down, 2 hours walk down to Segara Anak Lake
- Camping and lunch will prepare by our trekking guide and porter at Segara Anak
- Hots spring water only 10 minutes from the Lake, you can soak in healing your skin as medicine and natural hot spa
- Overnight at Segara Anak Lake
DAY THREE
- Breakfast will be serve at 07.30 – 08.00 AM
- Prepare trek back to Senaru crater Rim for 3 hours, will be at crater RIM Senaru at 11.00 AM
- Short break and enjoy the view from crater RIM of Senaru over views of Segara Anak Lake
- Walk down to Senaru village, fresh fruit, tea / coffee and lunch will prepare at POS 3 or POS 2.
- Arrive at Senaru village approx 17.00 PM
- Prepare your luggage for next transfer ( Senggigi, Mataram or Bangsal harbor )
- End of service
